Crowdfunding: Lesson 3, T-Minus 10 Days

Now that you’ve successfully built your team and had your first team meeting, it’s time for:

Step 3: (T-minus 10 days) Begin building your project
There are several pieces of the puzzle. Let’s list them all then address each one.
1. Title
2. Financial Goal
3. Description
4. Pictures
5. Audio Clip
6. Video (2 mins or less)

1. Title
Choose something both catchy and descriptive. Keep it short. This is the first thing your Fuelers will read.

2. Financial Goal
Choose a goal you think is attainable. For more info read about Difficulty Levels and Setting Your Financial Goal

3. Description
Your description should include the following sections: Welcome, Call to Action, Detailed Description of Your Plans, and Thank You.

4. Pictures
Choose three pictures that best represent you, your team and your project.

5. Audio Clip
Choose an audio clip that best represents you, your team, and your project. This is most appropriate for musical projects.

6. Video (2 mins or less)
We have found a strong correlation between projects with videos and projects that succeed. Videos offer Fuelers the opportunity to hear you, see you, and see how strongly you feel about your project. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with your audience.

That should keep you busy for the next few days, but the work is just beginning. Get ready for Crowdfuning: Lesson 4 where we will create your Rewards Menu!
