About You
Although the meat-and-potatoes of any project page is the project description, the About Me section - i.e. your profile - can be equally as important.
The Project Description should give your friends, fans, and contributors a thorough introduction to your project. The About Me should give a thorough introduction to you. It is you, the Creative, who is driving the project. It is you, the Creative, who we are trusting with our funds. It is you, the Creative, who will make it happen.
A blank profile, gives us an incomplete picture. It gives us reason to doubt your ability to meet your financial goal and to actually fulfill your promises. So get a little personal - get a little intimate. Be sure to have an image of yourself. Be sure to be honest and to describe what makes you a unique Creative. Be sure to let us know a little about you.
